Objectives of ACPS :
Seeking to attain responsible and
serious objectivity as well as openness onto local; Arab; and
international environments, ACPS strives to:
- Contribute to the creation and development of specialized
theoretical and systematic studies that suit the Arab
environment. Examples of these studies are: identifying
theoretical frameworks for political pluralism; foreign policy
and its mechanisms; crisis management; political development;
etc.
- Explore theoretical principles and visions of Political Islam,
and study Islamic political movements in the Arab World in terms
of performance and approaches;
- Contribute to the study and analysis of modern political
issues and problems in the region, and devise a better
understanding of how these issues could be diagnosed and dealt
with; and
- Lay emphasis on the study of the mutual relationship and
effects between the international community and its policies on
the one hand, and the Middle East and its local and regional
effective powers on the other hand. The study of this issue
should rest on civilized means that target to benefit from the
experiences of leading Arab and Western intellectuals in this
regard
